I can say it's the challenge. People have told me I tend to be in relationships with partners who have commitment issues or have never been in a relationship before. At the end of the day, I want to know that that person has changed for me. I know, SAD. :-(

People don't change for anybody else, no matter how that person loves/supports them; IF they change, they do it for themselves. Following your pattern, u're gonna end up disappointed, resentful, depleted, then empty and bitter... are u repeating the kind of relationship u grew up/ are familiar with; is ur self-esteem not so great?

I personally think that personality is something that is born with you. You can work on fixing some issues in yourself but you can't change your personality, same as being homosexual and getting married to a guy because you think(actually the society thinks) that this is the right thing to do.

Uh.. and your brilliant point would be that being gay is just like another personality trait; you can't change one therefore you can't change the other??!!!! This is so beyond me, u'll have to explain.. Personality has greater potential than any given set of 'traits'; tis like the tides...a constant tango b/ genes & the environment

It definitely is possible to work with yourself, develop perspective, healthy self-love, question self-destructive behaviour etc, otherwise we'd all be doomed...The only catch is WE are the ones who can do it for OURSELVES, albeit with the help of others; aaand tis not something one generally does for the sake of a partner...

@nyx I dunno how you got it that being gay is a personality characteristic, I was doing an analogy, you can't change what you were born with, but you can work on specific issues in your personality. And that's MY opinion.

How i came on was nothing personal, it was just cuz how&when you chose to offer YOUR OPINION seemed to imply indirectly to the dreamer that she can't change going after guys who are bound to hurt her...& although tis true that you can't change the essence of who you are, this is one kind of BEHAVIOR you COULD definitely change!!

Umm, I would change for a partner, I would try very very hard to at the least.. So this dream is looking real good to me. (Plus the dreamer changed from pink sheep to orange sheep, that's just funny)

Hehe to new 'sheep look'...however question that begs to be asked my dear Changeling, is: what changes are we talking about? ex- dreambeast here undergoes some kinda 'sexual healing': 'brute' to 'cute'/ 'by-force-Taker' to 'game-Player'/ 'pain' to 'pleasure'/ 'catastrophic' to 'climactic' ;) classic 'Beauty & the Beast'...

Can't help wondering tho, is dreambeauty in love with the Beast= could she 'take' him as he is/ appreciate him for what he is & be satisfied with that ( with no guarantee of change) , or is her 'love' banking on his expected 'change'... she truly in love with him... or rather with her 'potential/ power/ ability to tame the beast'?
