seems you have a fine sense of priorities and are disappointed with the too common herd mentality of people. minority rights is an important issue and perhps an easier warmfuzzy bandwagon to get ppl t join, but of not much consequence if there is no environment for civil society to exist.

Thanks Carl! It's funny, most of my vol work has been for civil rights - police brutality, reproductive rights, LGBT rights, but my professional interests lie in urban environmentalism, so I feel like this dream exposes a guilt I feel over choosing one main cause over the others.

the >guilt< over .. specializing, making finer distinctions, is the guilt deeply felt by anyone who is discovering their innate uniqueness. The 'herd', the collective, always takes it very personally when it suspects in might 'lose' a conforming conditioned member.... is that relevant?
